Job summary – To manage and maintain the quality inspection function by monitoring quality outputs on the shop floor and raising any internal issues or queries to the production team lead and quality/site manager. Gathering and monitoring of data to assist in KPI reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Inspecting parts from production for quality assurance prior to despatch as directed.
- Reporting quality concerns internally to machine operatives for process review.
- Reporting quality issues from the shop floor to the quality manager and relevant production manager.
- Recording quality data on relevant paperwork
- Assisting the quality manager and production manager/team lead with quality incident investigations
- Assisting in Production as and when required
- Adherence to all of the Companies Health and Safety Procedures and Policy
Key skills and experience
- Quality Inspection experience is essential
- High Volume Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings preferred
- Working and communication within a team environment.
